Helping Restore Ability provides home care in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Seniors and others receive in-home non-medical care. Our proceeds benefit Helping Restore Ability, a non-profit that helps restore ability to disabled individuals so they may continue to live independently. Helping Restore Ability was founded in 1977 and has a history of providing exemplary care.
We provide home care services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call (817) 635-1740 or email us
info@yourhomeyourway.org. Our phone lines are answered between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday. In most cases we can begin providing care within 48 hours.

Getting help from someone you don’t know can be worrisome. We take pride in our high standards for our team members. Each home care provider must pass the following:
- Criminal background check
- Drug screen
- Employee Misconduct Registry Search (service that provides information on unlicensed professionals who have been found guilty of abuse, neglect or misconduct of a senior citizen)
- Skills and Abilities Check
- Professional and Personal Reference Checks
Additionally, our home care providers receive
extensive training annually. Classes include first aid, emergency preparedness and more.

Texas to provide a sliding fee scale personal assistance

- We match caregivers to meet your specific needs. Before we begin service, clients and their family members can request an interview with a home care provider either in-person, on the phone or via web camera.
- We will provide progress reports, as requested, to family members (pending permission provided by client and/or appropriate power of attorney).
- We provide home care services in Arlington, Dallas, Fort Worth, Hurst, Euless, Bedford (H-E-B), Mansfield, Plano and throughout North Texas.
Most long term care insurance will cover home care services. Additionally, Veterans Affairs may assist in covering the cost for your attendant services if you, or your spouse, were enlisted during active war-time. What is the difference between home care and home health?
Home care is non-medical care. Many refer to home care as a personal assistance service. Home care services generally include
personal care (such as bathing and grooming) and home management activities
(such as laundry and light housekeeping).. Home health services are medical services provided by licensed health care professionals - such as nurses and physical therapists.

be prepared to assist anyone who may need our support.

You are our first priority and since you select your care
giver, you can be assured they are reliable. Some of our
care givers have been with us almost 30 years, and many have

With stringent monitoring and supervision by our
experienced staff, we provide immediate backup staff to
insure you are provided exemplary service every day.
